Eiffel tower

We have to cut the Musée d'Orsay visit short to get to the Eiffel tower on time.  Bill decides to stay a little longer and will meet us there.

Since the tower is such a busy tourist location, we bought tickets in advance, but we need to be there exactly at 5:30.  We decide to walk  from the Musée d'Orsay to the Eiffel tower.  It is a much longer than expected walk. The tower is so big (over 1000 feet tall), that we can't get a single full shot of it.

Fred and the Iron Lady

Fred is not a big fan of heights and the fast, wobbly elevator was not enjoyable to him.

The elevator goes to the second level and all get off for some viewing.  Bill and Retta go all the way to the top.
